Things have been going pretty well for us lately. We have a two-year old, we bought a house, and we’re at a point where we’re starting to accumulate enough wealth to think about our long term plans. Up until now, I’ve been doing my own financial planning, mostly through robo advisors and Robinhood.

But we have a lot going on, so I haven’t been able to give our finances the attention they deserve. As an immigrant, I’m not entirely sure where I’ll be when we retire—and I need a bit more of a security blanket/emergency fund—so there’s a lot to consider when it comes to long term planning for my family.

I was really looking to consolidate the services I was using and get a bit more guidance—so finding an all-in-one platform that also included tax services was exactly what we were looking for. Overall, I think consolidating everything with one partner is the right move. My wife and I have been logging in often—I log in once a week. The platform makes it easy for me to keep an eye on our overall situation. The data is useful and easy to digest. The ability to really understand my current financial situation, and use that information to plan for the future has been great.
