At a high level I chose range because I was in the process of looking to change my annual tax provider, and I liked the fact that for about only 25% more than other quotes I was getting just for taxes, Range offered me full CFP support, as well as some other tools around budgeting etc. It seemed like a worthwhile incremental cost to get to consult the CFP team and use the platform vs. just paying someone to do my taxes. You can make that sound more exciting :)
